VISION & PRIORITIES
A good judge is someone who applies the law with consistency, fairness, and respect. A judge must listen carefully, make decisions based on the facts, and treat every person who steps into the courtroom with dignity—regardless of their background or circumstances.
A good judge understands the balance between accountability and compassion. They are firm when necessary, but never lose sight of the humanity of the people who stand before them. They maintain control of the courtroom, ensure cases move efficiently, and uphold the integrity of the justice system.
Most importantly, a good judge is someone the community can trust—someone who is guided not by personal opinion, but by the law, by fairness, and by a commitment to justice for all.
Fairness, Respect,
and Balanced
Decision-Making
Every person who enters the courtroom deserves equity, dignity, and judgments rooted in both compassion and accountability.
Transparency and Trust in the Legal
System
Strengthen the relationship between the courts and the community through clear communication, plain-language rulings, and consistent, impartial processes.
A Courtroom
That Works for
the People
Maintain a professional, respectful environment focused on problem-solving, constitutional rights, and solutions-based outcomes where appropriate.
ENDORSEMENTS

Hon. Mark C. McCabe
The ancient Greek Philosopher Socrates told us that "Four things belong to a judge: to hear courteously., to answer wisely, to consider soberly, and to decide impatiently".
Although not a judge, Cheryl Lopez has demonstrated that she possesses these attributes, initially as an attorney in private practice, and now as an assistant prosecutor.
Unquestionably, she will continue to possess and use them if elected to be a judge.
It is my distinct pleasure to endorse her to be your next 67th District Court Judge.
